Toyota Repair: 1992 previa cuts out and a pain to start., spark plug wires, thermostat switch

Question
my 1992/2.4cc previa cuts out when idling and also if i try to accelerate quickly.it's auto too.Toyota have done a diagnostics but couldnt find a problem.under further investigation ,they say the throttle body is to blame.there is a switch on the body that i took apart and cleaned but still cuts out.injectors have been cleaned, plugs too.Is this electrical magnetic switch supposed to close fully?there is also a kind of temp switch with 2 small rubber tubes, these tubes can only be blown through when the temp/thermostat switch is heated,so i guess that is working fine.please help as the vehicle wont start at all now.kind regards martin in the UK.

Answer
There are a few common problem areas to look at, the distributor cap and the rotor, the spark plug wires, the rotors have a tendency to burn through so check it closely.
The throttle body is not the cause of the no start condition, the engine either has lost spark to the spark plugs or fuel pressure. So have those things checked, good luck.
