Toyota Repair: electrical, engine cranks, 22r engine

car has no ignition spark. replaced coil rotar and cap. coil has an ignitor under it. sorry, this is a 1985 ex-cab 4 wheel drive with a 22r engine. drove to work every thing was aok. came out after work, wouldn't start. engine cranks fine

The most common problem is the igniter module, it could also be a problem with the distributor, try replacing the module first, they are very expensive from the dealer so I would suggest that you try to find one at a local wrecking yard or the internet.
