Toyota Repair: VSC, 2004 toyota highlander, toyota highlander

Question
Would there be any possible corellation between having the VSC calibrated and programming the sunroof to open automatically.  I purchased a 2004 Toyota Highlander Limited.  Initially the sunroof did not open automatically (it would open and close just not auto).  They said they reprogrammed it to a 4Runner's config. then the next day a horrible grinnding and clicking noise came from the front end the vehicle would pretty much shut down. I thought it was possibly the front drive axle or ABS.  They said they recalibrated the VSC and the following day the sunroof would not automatically open AGAIN. Is it the icompentenancy of the mechanics or defective vehicle? And could there be any possible damage to the vehicle from the second incident?
Thank you,
Frustrated and disgusted consumer

Answer
I don't know what the sunroof would have to do with the VSC system so it is probably a seperate issue, there have been some problems with VSC computers that cause noise and wheel lockup, if the VSC and trac warning lights are on take it back to the dealer for diagnosis I believe there is a service bulletin on the computer replacement, sorry, but I have no idea what the sunroof issue is about, take it back to the dealer it is covered under the warranty and tell them to make it work correctly.
