Toyota Repair: 1999 4runner starter, inner fender, bellhousing

Question
Can you provide the procedure for removing the starter from a 1999 4WD V-6 4Runner.

Thank you

Mike

Answer
Remove the right front tire, remove the inner fender lining, the metal and the rubber shields, there are two 14mm bolts on the backside of the bellhousing that hold the starter on, you will need a long extension and a 14mm swivel socket to remove them, remove the 12mm nut from the battery cable and remove the small connector from the solenoid(make sure the battery is disconnected before doing any of this) the starter can be removed through the opening of the fender well or possibly through the bottom, I don't remember but either way works.
