Cadillac Repair: 95 seville floor shift, floor shift, shifter knob

can you lead me to a schematic for the floor shifter release assembly. The shifter release button is inoperative and the key wont release from the ignition. the car will start,run and shift through all transmission positions. when shut down the shifter will return to park but the key wont release. Any tips on how to remove the shifter knob will be appreciated as well.

Hi Steve,

      Unfortuneately I have no way of sending a schematic nor do I have one available. However if you submit this question to the other Caddy expert he might able to do that.

      The other thing you can do is go to alldata.com or autozone.com and get a 1 year subscription for a shop manual for your car from alldata. That way you will be able to print out and have all that info available from your computor. Bill
