Toyota Repair: 86 Toyota Supra with no spark, angle sensors, toyota supra

Question
I bought a Toyota Supra ( automatic 3.0L GTE, MA70 model ) and then one day it had no spark at all. The engine control unit and igniter assembly have both been replaced with known good ones, but made no difference. She's been sitting in an auto-sparky workshop for almost 2 months now. The fuel injection has shut down as well ( I'm told its because there is no spark ).
Is there any trouble that Supras give in this that could lead to this?

Answer
Check the cam angle and crank angle sensors, they can be checked for resistance using an ohm meter, the cumputer will not trigger the fuel injectors unless it confirms that there is an IGF(spark) signal to it. The computer needs to see an IGT (timing) signal and an NE(rpm signal) to provide spark to the spark plugs, the IGT signal comes from the cam angle and crank angle sensors, this is the reason I suspect that one of them may be the problem.
By the way, has anyone checked the timing belt to make sure it didn't jump timing, have them check to make sure that the cam timing is correct. This engine doesn't have distributor, all the sensors are in a housing on the right cylinder head, it sort of looks like a distributor but there are no plug wires on it, anyway have the guys at the shop check for what I mentioned above. As a last resort you could always take it to the dealer and have them try to figure it out, I know I could if you brought it to me.
