Toyota Repair: 93 Camry Air conditionin, camry xle, repair attempt

I have a 1993 Camry XLE that has an Air Conditioning problem.  The green light on the AC button will start flashing and the AC will blow out warm air.  In the past, I simply turned it off for 5 minutes or so and things would be fine.  That is not the case any more.  What does this sound like?  Simple?  Expensive?

Any help would be appreciated.

When this happens there is normally a problem with the compressor, I recommend that you have an a/c repair shop do the first step in any a/c repair attempt and get some line pressure readings this will be a good indication of what's wrong with the system.
