Toyota Repair: Toyota Camry Exterior Door Handle, phillips screws, phillips screw

Question
I need to replace the left front (driver's) exterior door handle on my 1992 Camry. Can you tell me how to remove the inside door panel and replace the handle? Thanks.

Answer
There are three large phillips screws that you have to remove, two are in the armrest, one is covered with a plastic cover, one of the screws is under the small clearance lamp, remove the cover around the inner door handle, you may have remove the small phillips screw and pry it off, there is another small cover right above the left door pocket with a screw under it, look for some small plastic buttons on the edge of the panel on the rear, push the centers in and they will come out, pull the panel off by prying with a screwdriver between the door and the panel, there are a bunch of clips holding it on, once the panel is off, roll the window all the way up, disconnect the clips that hold the door lock linkages on to the handle, remove the two 10mm bolts that hold the handle on from the inside, these instructions are kind of generic so some of the buttons or screws may or may not be there. There may also be two buttons towards the front of the panel that hide screws.
