Toyota Repair: 99 Camry, fuel leaks, foot on the gas

Question
My 99 Camry LE started stalling while driving.  It seems as long as you have your foot on the gas pedal it is ok, however, when you take it off, the tachometer just plummets and the car stalls.
My fiancee also noticed some gasoline sitting on the driveway after he started it and was going to test drive it.  But then after parking it again and waiting, no more "leaks".  Have you ever heard of this?  I appreciate any answers you may have for me.

Answer
A common stalling problem is the idle speed control valve, they tend to stick because of carbon built up, they can be cleaned with good results, the best way is to replace the valve.
Fuel leaks are very rare and normally don't fix themselves so have no advice on that at this time.
