Toyota Repair: 93 Camry door panel, window regulator, camry

the drivers window does not work (heard a loud "snap" while putting the electric window up)- the motor runs but is not attached to the window any longer - i can not get the door panel off - it appears to be held by the inside door handle - #1 how can i get the door panel off #2 - do you know of any other problems i may encounter with the panel removal or access to the window mechanism and #3 - any clue as to what i may find with the window mecanism? - thank you for your help....jim

The window regulator cable broke and the regulator has to be replaced, there are three large screws holding the door panel on, two of them are located in the armrest, remove the plastic covers on the side of the armrest to get to them, one is located behind the small red clearance light, just pry it out, the cover around the inside door handle prys off, use a small screwdriver and pry the outer part of the cover away from the handle on both the top and bottom this will release the cover.
