Toyota Repair: replacing 92 corolla door, straight shaft, crank handle

I am replacing the LF door on my 92 Corolla however, I am having little success removing the manual window crank/handle.  It   appears to be a straight shaft attachment with no  clips.  How  do I remove the handle?

There is a wire clip on the door handle, there is a tool available at most autoparts stores to remove it, you can try inserting a thin towel between the panel and the handle and by moving it around you will eventually catch the open end of the clip and pop it off and the handle will fall off.
