Toyota Repair: 95 corrola - rough when cold, engine misfire, valve adjustment

Question
I have a 95 Corolla with 95000 miles.  When I start it up in the morning or when it is cold it feels very rough/loud/a little shaky. Even when it has warmed up it feels a little rough, but not that bad. I was wondering what the source of these sensations could be. Besides spark  plugs, wires, dist.cap and rotor and oil this car has had no other maintenence. Could I be in need of a valve adjustment and/or injection service?  What can I do to restore the youthful feeling of my Toyota?

Answer
It sounds like there is an engine misfire when cold, how long has it been since a complete tune up, maybe it is time to replace the spark plugs etc. again.
I don't think it's a valve adjustment problem or in need of an injection service, as a last resort have the engine compression checked and also have it checked for a possible headgasket problem.
