Toyota Repair: Alternator Brackets, alternator brackets, tensioner pulley

Question
I have a 1988 toyota supra (non-turbo) that I'm replacing out the motor. I have almost everything put back except the Alternator brackets. All the manuals I have really don't indicate a picture or assembly procedures. Just reassemble to brackets to the Alternator and adjust it. I have two brackets for the Alternator. One with a small adjusting nut that swings with the arc of the alternator. That's fine but I have another bracket that has two holes on it with a slot for an adjustment bolt to be used. This is the one I can't figure out how this mounts. I have already mounted the Bracket for the Power steering. The AC is hard mounted in it's own brace with no adjustment. The The tensioner pulley mounts directly to the front of the block with it's own adjustment screw. So where? and How does this last bracket Go?

Any information you can provide on this would be extreamly helpful.

Answer
THIS IS TOUGH CONSIDERING THAT I REALLY DO NOT SEE TO MANY OF THESE VEHICLES ON A REGULAR BASIS. BUT I WILL DO WHAT I CAN... FIRST SEE HOW THE ALTERNATOR SITS WITH OUT THE BRACKETS.FROM THERE YOU WILL ONLY HAVE SO MUCH ROOM WITH THE BRACKET TO MOUNT IT. BASICALLY WHAT I AM SAYING TO TO DRAW AN IMAGINEARY CIRCLE WITH THE BRACKET AND IT CAN ONLY MOUNT IN ONE DIRECTION. WALK AWAY FROM THE CAR FOR A WHILE AND TRY WHAT I SAID. PAUL P.
