TRANS AXEL WAS RAN WITHOUT GEAR OIL FOR ABOUT 2 DAYS ITS A FIVE SPEED  WHAT KIND OF DAMAGE MAY THIS HAVE CAUSED IF ANY ALSO THE BALL JOINT DOES NOT SET IN THE SOCKET VERY GOOD, THERE IS ABOUT A 1/4 INCH GAP. IS IT STILL OKAY TO DRIVE UNTIL IT CAN BE REPLACED,  LAST QUESTION ... THERE WAS NO GREASE IN OLD THROWOUT BEARING IT STARTED TO GRIND AND WEAR ON THE BEARING SHAFT , VERY SLIGHT DAMAGE BUT WHAT CAN THIS CAUSE IN THE FUTURE

Driving without gear oil in the transmission can cause serious damage it depends how many miles were driven, after adding oil was there any noise from the transmission?
If there is no noise you may have saved it from destruction.
I don't think the wear on the bearing shaft will be a problem.
I'm not sure what the problem is with the ball joint but replace it as soon as possible.
