Toyota Repair: aircon repair, small screws, toyota camry

Question
Hi Ted

My toyota camry aircon is working only at high setting of 3. Not working at low setting of 1 or 2. I tested the aircon switch, it is working. I found out that the aircon resistor has blown. But i just can't find where it is located. Do you know where it is so i can change it?

Best Rgds

Answer
You forgot to tell me what year and model it is but I may be able to help anyway, most of the time the resistor is located underneath the glove box on the fan ducting, you may have to remove the glove box to find it or look at the bottom of the air duct, it has a connector with a few wires going to it and is held on with either one or two small screws, I suggest that you buy the part first so you know what it looks like.
