Tractor Repair: MXU110 - error code retreival, failure rate, laptop computer

Question
MXU 110 power take off not working.  Sometimes will work after moving lever repeatedly.  A code did come up which might have been 2402, not sure about that.  Code does not reappear and wondering if there is a way to retrieve it.  If not, do you know what this code indicates.  Many thanks.

  The only way I know of to retrieve fault codes is with a dealer's laptop computer.  I don't think 2402 is a good number.  There was a high failure rate of the pto switches on the earlier MXU and MXM machines.  If it sometimes works after playing with the switch for awhile, I would try replacing the switch.
