Toyota Repair: Untwist a seat belt, avalon xls, mounting bolt

Question
Sorry, this is a simple one (but probably very common).  The seat belts in my 1997 Avalon XLS are twisted within the latching contraption  (the "male end" on the belt through which the belt is supposed to slide, and which latches into the "female" end that comes up through the seats).  Do you have any tricks on how to untwist them so that they will be in proper alighment again?  And a related question - if one is already untwisted, but now is facing the "wrong way", how do I twist it back around?

Answer
You can undo the swivel mount on the door pillar and turn it or disconnect the mounting bolt on the floor and twist it or you can twist the belt and force the twisted part through the plastic guide, it can be done, get some silicon lube spray from an autoparts place and spray the belt and the guide.
