Toyota Repair: 93 Camry rear motor mount removal, cv boots, cv axle

Question
Hi,
I am in the process of replacing both front driveaxles on a 93 Camry auto with 2.2L, no ABS, and the left side went fine, but I'm having trouble with the right side, specifically the bearing which is located within the rear engine mount has siezed into the mount and will not come free, so I'm looking for help on what I see are my 2 options:
1 Remove the bearing/intermediate shaft by whatever brute force is required while leaving the motor mount in place....so far gentle tapping/penetrating oil have had no effect.
2 Somehow remove the motor mount bracket to be able to better work on the bearing. The mount itself will unbolt easily enough from the engine, but the top nut on the actual cushion mount seems like a bear to get to without taking half the car apart. Also, is the cushion mount pressurized somehow? There is limited room to raise the cast motor mount bracket off the cushion mount, if I do get it unbolted.
I'm looking for any ideas that may help me along here....and yes, I've removed the bearing retaining bolt and the snap ring from the cast bracket.
Thanks,
Ed

Answer
These bearings can be extremely difficult sometimes because they tend to built up rust.
The best advice I can give you is to not remove this bearing and leave the inner part of the shaft in place, remove the cv boot clamp and pull the outer part of the axle off, seperate the outer shaft from the new axle and install it in the inner shaft, the inner half is just a piece of steel and does nothing else than connect the transmission to the cv axle, I have never seen one of the bearings fail, we do this all the time when replacing cv boots it saves a lot of time.
The motor mount is not pressurized it is oil filled.
