QuestionI have a Toyota Camry SW 1989, 4cyl. Cranks OK but will not start. After 2-3 tries a whif of blue smoke comes out of the engine area. I was not able to determine from which part. There is enough gas in tank. Please advise. Thanks.
AnswerThere are several things that could cause the no start condition:
There is no fuel pressure, have the fuel pressure tested.
There is no spark to the spark plugs, possible distributor or igniter problem.
The timing belt slipped because of wear and the engine timing is off.
No idea what the blue smoke may be.
