Toyota Repair: changing transmission, wheel drive cars, clutch friction

Question
Is there anything I should be aware of when removing the trany on this car.  I've changed cluthes in rear wheel drive cars before, but never FWD?

I have a 96 Celica GT 5 speed with 191,000 miles.  A couple of days ago 5th gear failed.  I had a shop confirm my fears that the clutch was ok, 5th gear is shot.  The trany makes a grinding noise in 5th when sitting still. The other gears work ok, even reverse. I'm ready to change the trans out.  What seals and other parts should I change out while I'm there. I'm going to replace the clutch, press. plate and throw out bearing.  I guess the crank seal also, any other suggestions.  I have a Haynes manual.  Any other "Watch out for this" suggestions? This is the orginal clutch in there now.

You covered it all pretty much, I can't think of anything else except maybe the axle shaft seals if it's a used transmission you are installing, if it's rebuilt it should have new seals in it.

Answer
One thing that is different is that there is no pilot bearing in the flywheel, so it can be a little difficult to get the clutch friction plate centered, I normally do it by visually aligning it before tightening the pressure plate all the way, you can get a universal pilot shaft that is adjustable at most auto parts stores.
