Toyota Repair: Truck wont start, distributer cap, toyota pickup

Question
I have got a 1991 Toyota Pickup V6 3.0 liter engine 2WD. It will turn over but it will not start. It is getting fire to the coil but not to the distributer or to the plugs. I have replaced the igniter, distributer cap,and rotary. All of my fuses are good. Why won't it start?

Answer
Hello Shirley, welcome to my expert page.
I'm a little confused so maybe you can help me clear it up if I can ask you a question: When you remove the coil wire from the distributor cap and hold it about 1/2 inch from a ground is there spark when cranking the engine? Let me know and I will take it from there.
