Toyota Repair: D Indicator, shift indicator, position indicator

Hi, I have a 93 Camry LE and two of my friends have a 95 Camry LE and 96 Camry LE. We all have the same problem - the drive position indicator "D" in the dashboard doesn't light up when the shaft is in the drive position. Is this a common problem among all Camry models? Thanks.

Hello Alan, welcome to my expert page.
Not very common but it does happen now and then, there are small bulbs for each one of the shift indicator segments on the back of the instrument cluster, this requires removal of the instrument cluster and replacing the bulb.
