Tractor Repair: 1066 Hydraulic issue, suction tube, hydraulic pump

I have a IH 1066. Hydraulic pump was tested and found to be weak. Replaced pump but I now have an intermittent slow action when I use the remotes. I also replaced the relief valve at the same time. We tested the new pump with a flow meter unfortunately we couldn't get it to act up at the time. I mowed with it today and it gave me issues after about 3 passes.

Answer
  When installing a new pump, the suction tube from the filter has to go into a hole in the pump.  Rather than going into the pump, the tube can be pushed into the filter housing which will cause a suction leak and delayed hydraulic response.  Remove the filter and push on the suction tube to seat it completely into the pump.
