Tractor Repair: Ford 600 tractor will not turn over., ground cable, battery charger

Question
Ford 600 tractor was able to start up five times. Turned it off and parked it for a few minutes. Came back, tried to start it, engine would turn over, but not start. I put a battery charger on it. The tractor then proceeded to not make any noise at all when the starter would be engaged. All connections look fine.

Answer
Take the cables off the battery posts and clean the clamps and posts until everything is shiny.  Check where the ground cable grounds to the tractor to make sure there is a good connection there also.  Sometimes they are rusty, dirty, or loose.  If everything is OK, try a different battery or have this battery load tested to see if it is good.  Check that there is power from the ignition switch to the starter.  If everything else is good, then possibly the starter is bad.
