Tractor Repair: ford carburator, ford carburator, vacuum leak

I am working on a ford 600 I cant get it to run unles I hold the choke and it runs fine. I am factory trained in John Deere but not much experiance on gas engines.

 Make sure there is good flow of fuel from the tank to the carburetor.  There could be dirt in the jets inside the carburetor or there could also be a vacuum leak.  Check all the intake manifold nuts and carburetor mounting bolts to make sure they are tight.  If everything checks out OK, remove and clean out the carburetor.
