Tractor Repair: ford 2000 water leakGoing, water leaks, frost plug

Question
Going to buy a Ford 2000 tractor except the owner says that water leaks out between engine and gearbox near the bottom, could this be a major problem.

i think it is probably just a frost plug in the back of the engine it would mean splitting the tractor but the plug should only cost a couple of quid if you are getting it at the right money it should be fine and would not be hard to do yourself if you are mechanically minded
