Tractor Repair: steering colomn on Massey Ferguson, massey ferguson, colomn

My steering wheel is not steering my tractor anymore it just turns in circles and does not steer the 1950s Massey Ferguson.  What is your best guess about what may be wrong?  How it the steering assembly composed?

i take it you have full mechanical steering (no power steering) my guess is your steering draglink box has either worn or broken parts you might need a manual to rebuild this as there are different types but you could rip it first and see what is gone you might be able to buy a complete steering box second hand if the new parts are dear
