Tractor Repair: Tafe 3600 (Long), pto shaft, clutch pack

My PTO will not stop turning completely.  It is an electric PTO, and it will turn on and off, but the PTO shaft still turns, but if you put a lot of pressure on the PTO shaft, you can stop it from turning. (in the off position)  Thanks,  Scott

the pto brake is worn and the clutch pack would need to be removed to fix this
the pto brakes normally only give trouble if you don't use overrun clutch pto shafts on implements that need them like a mower or any high power implement as when the pto is off the brake comes on and the implement has enough momentum to drive the pto and wear the brake
