Tractor Repair: cooling system, rust problems, deisel

I am replacing the radiator on a Ford 601 Workmaster deisel.Is there anyway I can flush the cooling system(in the block) before installing the new radiator?Any help will be greatly appreciated,thanks in advance for your time spent on this problem.

not really other than putting a power hose in thermostat housing and letting the crap come out the bottom
the best way to clean them is to buy rad flush and use it as the instructions state but that is with the rad on
when your done use proper coolant mix and you should not have anymore rust problems
