Tractor Repair: hydraulics, hydraulic

Question
Hi I have a int 1086 that was split to replace gears I got it back in dec I used it to remove snow the hydraulics have air in them if I hold the clutch in when I dump snow it gets chattery also the power steering do not work until clutch is let out he did not replace the hyd filter how do I get the air out or what ever the problem is THANKS KEVIN

Answer
I dont think that you need to bleed air from this hydraulic system
when you say gears were replaced do you mean crash gears or do you mean the clutchless spliter(torgue amplifier)
first thing to check is that all the oil levels
change the hydraulic filters
if there is air in the hydraulics it is most likely low oil level or a damaged suction pipe
have you used the pto is it working while under pressure
there is a good chance the splines driving hydraulic pumps and pto are worn
arnie josie is the best man to tell you anything about these tractors
think about what i said and give him the question with the information i asked for
