Tractor Repair: hydro. filter, rear blade, inline filter

this might be a stupid question but where is the hydrolic filter on a LONG 2310 deseil tractor? my rear blade will not lift up. thank you

From what information I could find looks like it is a inline filter or screen. On the right hand side of the tractor should be your Hydraulic pump with about a 2in round suction line coming from the transmission housing. The screen should be on the other side of that line in the housing. If it is where I think it is you are going to have to drain the transmission oil before you try to take it out,or your going to have a big mess. Since it is just a screen to effect hitch operation it would have to be really plugged. If it is the brakes something inside is coming apart. If it is clean then you probably have a pump going out.
