Tractor Repair: waterpump repair, shaft seal, weep hole

hallow justine I had sent my first e-mail and you had answered with a question. Thak you very much for that. To remind I own a 280 massey tractor. Its water pump is leaking even after I replaced the shaft seal I think the "0" ring is OK. Please advise me in this because I think I have wrongly inserted the new seal. I advance a lot of thanks to you and the whole crew.

hey Samuel, i do hope Nigeria is treating you well, i hope to visit in the next year myself. now on to business, i need for you to positively identify where on or around the pump it is leaking. with out this we are just shooting in the dark. example, if its leaking from the weep hole the inner seal has failed and you will need a new pump. if its leaking from the O rings/gaskets it may be improper installation., take a good look and confirm exactly where it is leaking from so we can make a proper diagnoses of the problem. hope to hear from you soon thanks, Justin
