Audi Repair: A6 stereo, ebay, good luck

I'm sure it's a long shot, but how possible is it to puth the Symphony I or II Dual DIN in a 1999 A6 with the single DIN stero?

I'm not sure, but I know there is a way to do it. I have seen a lot of them on Ebay, where people offer whole center console for dual DIN radio. I thing you will have to change whole console and make sure that your A/C controls will fit
