Tractor Repair: Massey Ferguson TO 35 - 1960, massey ferguson, range shifts

High low range shifts fine.  H shifter (R,1,2,3) is stuck in the neutral position.  PTO and rear lifter arms work.  Tractor will only move backwards even though H shift is in neutral position.  How bad is this going to be to get into and fix from a complication stand point.  Thanks for any help you can provide.

  The bottom of the shift lever jumped out of the shift rail the last time you shifted out of reverse.  The lever went to neutral, but the shift rail stayed in reverse.  This won't be too hard to fix.  Remove the transmission cover and pry the reverse shift rail back to the neutral position where it will line up with the other shift rail.  Inspect the bottom of the shift lever and the shift rail for excessive wear.  If they are not too worn out, it will probably be fine if you are careful how you shift and don't try to speed shift or it will happen again.
