Question
have a 1986 L275dt kubota 4x4 3 cyl diesel, and recently changed oil and found a bit of antifreeze in the oil.upon starting in cold, drips prestone out of exhaust manifold vent/ then starts and doesn,t smoke etc.should i run it still or repair the head gasket ? any advice is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance. gilly

Answer
Hello,

No, don't keep running it that way.  Antifreeze in the oil is a serious problem and even a small amount can cause serious engine damage.  Even though you changed the oil, it's just going to contaminate the new oil again.  The head should be checked for warpage and cracks besides replacing the head gasket.

                Good luck,
