Tractor Repair: hydaulic loader B302 for Kubota L7510, hydraulic hoses, hydraulic valve

Question
QUESTION: Hi,
This morning I was able to use the loader without a problem. Now at 1pm, the loader will not lift and the stick cannot be moved into the down position. Can you tell me what's wrong? Can it be easily fixed??

ANSWER:   Hello,

It sounds like you might have a broken cable between the lever and the loader hydraulic valve.

QUESTION: The stick is attached to a black box. From the other side of the box are four hydaulic cables which are coded yellow, green, red and black. two on top and two right below the top 2 cables. All four are attached to the bar right behind the bucket. These four cables are all intact. There are no leaks. Could the hydraulic fluid be too low? If so, how do I fill it and what do I fill it with?

Answer
The four color coded items you are referring to are the hydraulic hoses, not cables.  There would only be 2 cables between the lever and the valve. It sounds like your hydraulic valve may not be controlled by cables as I previously thought.  Low hydraulic oil could cause the loader not to lift, but would not cause the lever to be stuck.  All Kubota equipment uses Kubota Super UDT oil.  If the lever can't be moved, there is either something wrong with the valve or the lever linkage.  Some models have a lock that can be engaged to prevent the loader valve lever from being moved accidentally.
