Tractor Repair: tractor snow blade, snow blade, numbers don

I have a 1986 craftsman tractor #917 255.741, I recently bought a snow blade for it #917 253.170. I need to know if it fits, and if it does , where to get a manual for it

Hello,

 I'm not a craftsman expert, so these numbers don't mean anything to me.  I would have no way of knowing what snow blade fits on what tractor, so I would suggest contacting Sears.  They sell them, so they should be able to find that info for you.
