Tractor Repair: 3 point lift oring and gasket replacement, ford tractor, orings

Are there any special things I need to know about replacing ther orings and gaskets on the 3 point lift on my 1959 601 ford tractor? The lift either goes all the way to the top, or all the way down.

Hi Chuck.
My Manual covers this in great detail.
You may need an extra pair of hands to do the lifting off and putting back.
With the lid off a good idea to check everything in reach including cleaning out the sump and filters if appropriate. keep it all clean off course.
