Tractor Repair: 30 amp fuse blows, amp fuse, fuse holder

Question
The 30 amp fuse on my Craftsman 23 horsepower garden tractor blows every time I try to start it.  It does not blow when I put a new one in the fuse holder until I try to start it and then it blows the fuse again.  I have checked the battery cable that goes from the battery to the selinoid and I do not see any problems with it.  I have also replaced the ignition switch but that did not solve the problem either.  The fus that is blowing is located between the selinoid, the battery, the ammeter and the ignition switch.  I am desperate for a solution to the problem because I have 3 acres of grass to mow and am having to use a push mower to mow it until I can figure out what is wrong with the tractor.

Answer
P J the fuse is a little lite to be on a starting circuit on our tractors we have a 50 amp fuse on the main line.
If you have never changed the fuse before it could be a short in the starter motor its self you should have a proffecinal look at it.
As electrical problems sometimes can not be a cut and dry fix they know all the test procedures.
So I would get a technician to look at it.
