Tractor Repair: 8N Ford stater, 8n ford, flywheel

Hi Danny, I took off the stater on my 1952 8N, had it rebuilt and when I tried to put it back on I can get the stater drive past the flywheel but thats it is there a trick to it?

Larry no there is no trick as far as I know in the hole and fit the bolts and hook the wires.
But please tell me did they replace the starter drive or bendix gear as we know it as some of these can be larger than the original and may be this is why it will not fit.
