Tractor Repair: tractor quits after warms up, electronic gear, line filter

Question
I have a ford 800. I recently installed a new coil, electronic ignition (6v pos.grnd.). The tractor was hard to start before that, now starts fine. Both before and after the installation of these parts, the tractor will start and run great for anywhere from 10-45 minutes, and then die like it is out of gas. I have installed an in line filter and cleaned the tank as much as possible. seems to have good flow. Any components that might be failing after tractor gets good and warm? Tractor is gas. After 30 minutes of "cooling off", tractor starts and runs fine again, for the next usually about 30 minutes then dies like it is out of gas again. Where do I start?

Answer
Thad the problem I feel is in the electronic gear as soon as a component gets hot it stops and when it cools off it starts again.
We have had it with points type systems they some times need a balast resistor as the points get hot they stop working leave it cool and they will start again.
Check out all the electrical components and see if it is the problem.

Let me know what you find Thad.
