Tractor Repair: mower deck, spindle shaft, bearings

Question
while mowing the deck hit a big root  and now when you engage the blades the deck rattles bad.checked the blades, there not hitting the deck, so was wondering what it might be.

Answer
The deck hit the root or the blade Jeff.
If the deck hit the root it could be that the deck is twisted a bit causing a vibration.
If the blade hit the root you could have a bent spindle shaft take the belt off and look at the blade when you spin it by hand.
Also the bearings could be damaged in the spindle Jeff.
