Tractor Repair: engine start, brake switch, starter motor

Question
I have a 14hp 38 in deck sabre that woudn't start.I just hear a  click everytime i tried to start it.It happened last year also.I changed the solenoid, ignition key, and brake switch just for the heck of it.I really don't know what the problem until I played with metals that press one of the switches. It worked. Now, it happened again.I think it might be electrical, what do you think? I was wondering  if there is a  "starter bypass"  to start the engine.
Thanks. your advise would be highly appreciated.

Answer
Jake from what you say I think it may be a adjustment problem on piece that contacts the switch try to adjust the switch so it contacts the metal piece you talk about.
This is all I can see that may be the problem or a faulty starter motor gear this can happen what you need to do here is to try and turn the engine from the belts under the engine and then try to start again.

Hope this helps with your problem.
