          Can you offer any advice
            Thank you

Answer
I will assume the belt is the correct replacement size.  With that being said, it apprears that you have a more serious problem -- something is frozen or locked up -- possibly the rear end -- Sears lawn tractors are well known for their rear axles not being very durable -- A simple way to check for this type of problem is, (while not running) to lift the rear of the tractor up and while in neutral spin the rear tires -- if the operation is not smooth or not possible then there lies your problem.  I hope this helps.

Thank you
