Tractor Repair: freeze plugs, kubota b1750, freeze plug

Question
how difficult would it be for a novice to replace a freeze plug on the side of a motor on a small Kubota B1750-E tractor? I have removed the starter and have clear access to the blown out freeze plug.  Any special tools or techniques needed?

thanks

Answer
David no special tools required to do the job when I do them in Australia we call them welch plugs.
I use a socket that fits inside if it is a cup type if it a lense type it is a lot easier to do.
I think the Kubota has a cup type make sure the hole is clean of rust and rubbish.
Then put some sealer on the outside of the new plug the socket should be a loose fit inside the welch plug.
Then put the plug up to the hole and knock it in evenly and just below the edge of the block this will then seal the plug in the hole.
