Tractor Repair: leyland 255 tractor 1975, blown head gasket, coolant

Question
when I fill the radiator of the tractor with coolant and start the engine the coolant is expelled through the radiator overflow under pressure within minutes.the radiator is nearly new.the engine seems to run ok except it does use oil.what do you think the problem could be?

Answer
Jeff Leylands have 2 engines there own brand which I think is a wet liner engine and Perkins which should be dry liner the wet liner engine can have electrolisis problems which eats holes in liner and this can happen in cylinder area causing your type of problem or a blown head gasket on both engines can cause the problem as well.
