Question Engine runs O.K. for a while ,then starts to sputter,loss of power, then stops.It will start again, but stops right away, or as soon as I try to move the throttle forward.
Now in my garage. Starts and idles,but as soon as I advance the throttle ,just a notch, it stops. Sometimes if I just push the clutch in or use the hydraulic, it shuts down immediately.
I recently installed a new radiator and replace the plugs ( but not the points) .

AnswerJohn it sounds as if the fuel filter could be blocked if a fuel filter is not fitted it may pay to fit one.
If there is no fuel filter follow lines from tank to carbie and clean out all join points and check the fuel tank and fittings also check the point gap on disi this also could be a problem.
