Got about a 20 yr old tractor w/frontend loader.  Unit was a repo.I changed all filters, all oil, and greased everything.  At first front end loader worked fine-two weeks later started hesitating on way up. Found water in hydraulic fluid. Drained and replaced again. Now only will work for a few minutes when you first crank up the tractor. Friend says it needs a new pump (about $900)- I wonder if it might be something else we could try before new pump.
THANKS for any help...........Bill

Hi Bill
I am afraid your friend is right that is about the only thing that will cause one to act that way. $900 sounds like a lot for a pump what kind of tractor do you have Big Dean

THANKS Big Dean
I have a Kubota (about 37hp).  We are checking prices now.
THANKS AGAIN.........Bill

Answer
Bill I don't know a lot about the Kubota tractors I have heard that their parts prices are a little more expensive than some of the other tractors. usually a pump for most tractors will run from $300 to about $500. Just don't know about one for yours. Big Dean
