Triumph Repair: 73 Spitfire 1500 - Replacing Ignition Switch, pin switch, spades

Hello Howard:
I'm replacing the ignition switch in my 73 Spit 1500. The replacement I received from Victoria British is a Lucas 39415 (157SA). It has 4 sets of spades vs 6 that was originally on the spit. I'm having a little difficulty cross referencing the wiring from the old switch to the new one. I do have a manual, but no details on the new switch. I might be able to figure this out, but the brown/red wire is throwing me for a loop. If you have some details for all of the wires, I'd really appreciate the help.

HI Mark,

I believe if you look at the 6 pin switch you will see that several of the pins were connected together and compare that with your wiring diagram you can figure out what to connect to what.

If you don't have a diagram let me know and I will post one on my web site for you to copy.
