I have a 1970 mk3 spitfire that will not go into 2nd gear

Hi Ken,

You will need to tell me a little more. The shift lever will not go into the 2nd gear position? The lever goes in but there is no drive there? The gears clash and you can't get it into 2nd. You can get it into 2nd but it is difficult because of the gear clash or just hard to move the lever?

Each indicates a different cause. So you need to explain what you mean by "It will not go into 2nd".
